VICKY HAUGHTON (Helen Tulloch)

A New Zealand born actor best known for her roles as Nanny Flowers in Whale Rider (Best Supporting Actress at the4 2003 New Zealand Film Awards) and Hira Hita in Her Majesty.  Other feature credits include In My Father’s Den, Jack Be Nimble, and Peter Jackson’s King Kong.  A trained dancer, actor and singer, Haughton is familiar to New Zealand audiences for her extensive theatre credits.  Her theatre credits include the lead role in the musicals “Peter Pan”, “Sound of Music”, “Gypsy” and “Judy” and the dramas “Twelfth Night”, “Camille” and “Madam Butterfly”.  Vicky has also appeared in a variety of television dramas including Last Man Standing, Mercy Peak, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: The Warrior Princess, Deep Water Haven, Marlin Bay, and Raider of the South Seas for South Pacific Pictures.

Aljin is a 2006 NIDA graduate, appearing in the NIDA Productions “Three Sisters”, “Love’s Labour’s Lost”, “The Matchmaker”, “The Attic”, “Beach”, “The Laramie Project”, “The Hans Christian Anderson Project” and “The Fortunes of Richard Mahony”.  Aljin was also the major supporting role of Joe in the 2005 performances at Belvoir St Theatre Company’s rendition of The Sapphires and has appeared on numerous television dramas including Neighbours, Bootleg, Guinevere Jones, Legacy of the Silver Shadow, Horace & Tina and Blue Heelers.  In addition to Aljin’s NIDA training, his performance training includes AFTRS and The Victorian Youth Theatre.

A New Zealand born actor of Samoan heritage, Nathaniel is best known for his role as Captain Mifune in The Matrix trilogy and his role as Ugluk in The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers.  He has also guest starred in the TV series Young Hercules, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.  Nathaniel also has a long, established career in theatre including performances of “Othello”, “Equus”, and “Macbeth”, and has received many prestigious rewards for his contribution to the arts. He has most recently completed “The Tattooist” starring Jason Behr and is currently working on a movie being filmed in New Zealand, co-starring with Josh Hartnett.

Lisa recently starred in the one woman show THE 7 STAGES OF GRIEVING for The Sydney Theatre Company.  Other theatre credits include PARRAMATTA GIRLS for Company B, THE SAPPHIRES for MTC.  Film credits include SPIKE UP, THE SEPTEMBER PROJECT, OPAL DREAM, LOOK BOTH WAYS, QUEEN OF HEARTS, THE DROVER’S BOY, TURN AROUND, AUSTRALIAN RULES, BLACK & WHITE and KARBALI.  Lisa was nominated for the Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress for LOOK BOTH WAYS and the National Association of Film Critic Award for Best Supporting Actress for AUSTRALIAN RULES.

Born in Glasgow, Rory McCann now lives just outside of Gartmore in rural Scotland. Rory is a Scottish BAFTA winner (Best Television Performance), best known for playing Kenny in the acclaimed THE BOOK GROUP (Pirate Productions). More recently Rory played the lead in the BBC’s ATTILA where his performance was entwined with the latest CGI technology. Other television credits include: SHAMELESS, SURVIVORS, ST PETERSBURG, STATE OF PLAY and MONARCH OF THE GLEN.  Rory’s film work includes roles in OUTLAWS (Syndicate Films) HOT FUZZ (Working Title), BEOWULF & GRENDEL (Arclight Films / Icelandic Film Corp), ALEXANDER (Meredith), YOUNG ADAM (Recorded Picture Company) and PASTY FACES (Noel Gay) Rory is currently filming a new feature SOLOMON KANE (Epic Tales) in the Czech Republic.
